Your Reset Tools

Thank you for being with me today for your Reset experience with the horses.

This page is your take-home reminder from our time together, created so you can return to a steadier state anytime you need a pause, a breath, or a moment of grounding.

For another Reset experience in nature with horses and even more ball-rolling techniques, reach out to customize a session!

Grounding
Take a quiet moment to notice where you are. Feel the support beneath you, feel your shoulders lower away from the ears, and let your body know it does not need to rush.

Shuni Mudra
Bring the tip of your middle finger to the tip of your thumb. Gently rest the other fingers in a relaxed position. Soften your shoulders even more, relax your jaw, and let your hands feel light. This mudra is often associated with patience, discipline, and steadiness.

Breath Practice
Inhale through the nose for 4.
Exhale for 6 to 8.
Repeat several rounds, letting the exhale be longer than the inhale.

Faster Reset Breath
If you need a quicker calming breath, try this:
Inhale through your nose. Take a second small “sip” of air at the top. Then, allow a long, slow exhale through the nose while narrowing the back of the throat to create an ocean-like sound, or sigh.

This is commonly called the physiological sigh or cyclic sighing, combined with the ujjayi breath (“ocean breath”.)

(My favorite to also help me settle in for a restful night of sleep!)

Use These Anywhere
This practice is simple enough to use before a meeting, after a hard conversation, while sitting in your car, or anytime you feel overwhelmed, anxious or upset.

I’d love to stay connected. Reach out anytime, and stay tuned for more tools, teachings, and upcoming offerings by signing up for my newsletter below.
